Services for Donors

Tides Advocacy Fund allows both individual donors and coalitions of donors to mobilize funds strategically to impact legislative and ballot initiative activity, and support advocacy organizations. Donors can choose to open their own funder advised account or to contribute to an existing fund at Tides Advocacy Fund through which they can manage their grantmaking. Tides Advocacy Fund:

• Serves as an intermediary between donors and grantees
• Assists in identifying or structuring potential grants
• Manages anonymous contributions

Services for Projects and Initiatives

Tides Advocacy Fund serves new and emerging projects and initiatives wanting to engage in advocacy activities. Tides Advocacy Fund provides comprehensive financial services, including oversight of revenues and expenditures, up-to-date financial reports, audit and government reporting, tax returns and general financial management. Complete lobbying services, such as filing as a federal lobbyist employer or as a committee as needed in relevant states, and full reporting are also available along with fundamental employee benefits and administrative services.

Customized Services

Tides Advocacy Fund services are customized to meet the goals and requirements of our individual clients. In some cases, Tides Advocacy Fund serves as a starting platform for unincorporated groups that eventually become independent; in others, groups continue with Tides Advocacy Fund for several years.
